70. A ride around Pelt

Exploring Pelt and its surrounding nature is best done by bicycle. The Dommel Valley leads you through a unique small-scale landscape with rows of trees, wooden shelter belts, avenue planting, hedges and orchards. You also pass the house of the man who managed to rid the region of all Buckriders gangs. The Wedel Mill is the oldest water mill in the Benelux and most certainly also worth a visit. Plus you get to explore the hamlets around Pelt and the village centre of Pelt itself, with its gorgeous historical sights and excellent cafés.
