Every Wednesday during the summer holidays, the children's event Break the Week Kids takes place in the centre of Valkenswaard from 14:00 to 16:00; a varied programme of activities for children aged 4 to 12.

Every Thursday, the weekly market takes place on Valkenswaard's Market Square. It is the liveliest and best weekly market in Brabant, also popular with Belgian visitors. In summer, there is often live music. After shopping, you can enjoy one of the many surrounding terraces.

Brabantsedag is a big theater parade, even the biggest of the year. In total, 16 large floats come by. All decorated with theater, music, and local actors in costumes. It’s the perfect day trip to end the summer holiday!
