The Dommel, the Drongelens Canal and the Stadssingel (city canal) converge under the Vughterbrug.

This is one of the last inhabited castles in the Netherlands. A tour takes you along beautiful tapestries, the Roman bath, and the 18th-century interiors. It's the perfect setting for weddings, parties, and business meetings.

The Eindhovensche Golfclub is an 18-hole golf course in Valkenswaard. The course was designed by Harry S. Colt and has two loops of nine holes. From the clubhouse, you overlook the Galgenven, which is part of the golf course.

Villa Cranendonck, the little white castle, was built in the early 20th century. It was privately owned for quite some time until the municipality became owner or the Cranendonck estate in 1938.
