Sonse Watermolen, that no longer exists, was probably a double mill

Built in the 14th century, it was once a corn mill. The farmers from the surrounding area were forced to have to harvests ground here.

A standerdmolen is a mill that rests on a standard, as it were. When the wind comes from a certain direction, the whole mill is turned to catch the wind, and not just the hood with the blades.

Burgers and beer. That is what they do, and what they do best. And what better combo is there? The café has spacious outdoor seating in the Statie entertainment district. They also host regular pub quizzes, tasting nights and live music sessions.

De Bosuil in Sint-Huibrechts-Lille is mainly known for its beautiful, large and well-kept playground. The playground is always accessible and entrance is free.

Escape to the wild west in the outskirts of Hamont-Achel. At the Flaming Star Ranch, you can go for a horse ride at the riding school or in the surrounding area.
